GG5 splits "activity" into 1) "然や生物が生き生きと動くこと" and 2) "組織や人がある目的を持って活発に働くこと
daij and nikk don't split like this but instead have a pretty simple sense 1:

This was trickier than I thought. The GG5 sense split is maybe not all that helpful. The words listed are for the better
part the same in both senses. I don't know if the extra info I added is really helpful, but it's an attempt to give the
