I don't think the xref is a lot of use. Japanese people tend to use "pH", and I think it's more often read ペーハー than ピー・エイチ, although the latter is what the JEs like. GG5 points pH/ペーハー to pH/ピー・エイチ. |

I did wonder about that, but the kokugos redirect from "pH" to 水素イオン指数, and 水素イオン指数 is the title of the Japanese Wikipedia article on pH. |

Does this xref make sense? pH is not an abbrv of 水性イオン指数 and 水性イオン指数 is certainly.the more obscure word of the two. I suggest removing it. |
