Shouldn't there be some explicit mention of the computer sense (as used in my example sentence)?
The definition seems to me to make it look like it's a noun only: 
paste (food, adhesive, etc.)

In this context, "vs" might suggest to a user that, as a verb, it might mean "to glue something".
