A balun is a type of transmission line transformer.
  Comments:
I'm not changing it myself, but if you glance at the refs you might be inclined to put this in [elec] like I am.

All of our other transformers (変圧器, 逓降変圧器, 降圧トランス) are [elec], not sure why a particular variant of transformer would not be. I've started a github entry on [elec][electr].

1838760: ハラン; バラン 《葉蘭》 【はらん; ばらん】 (n) (1) (uk) cast iron plant (Aspidistra elatior); (n) (2) (uk) (esp. バラン) baran; green plastic garnish (orig. made from leaf) used in lunch boxes, with sushi, etc.
  Comments:
This is mixing up two entries. We already have sense 2 in entry 1838760, and the balanced/unbalanced transformer is not written with the 葉蘭 kanji.
