OK on the crossreference use - thanks!
Confused about the suggested merge/deletion - the little island around here, with the name バラス島", has nothing whatsoever to do with "ballast" but it's all (naturally) made from broken corals (coral gravel). :-) |

It might be useful to have a road building specialist or mason check the offered terms. :-)
Here is, btw, an explanation of the connection between senses 2 and 1: "Traditional forms of ballast carried inside the hull were stones or sand."

PS: How can one make sure that a reference only applies to a certain sense? For example, with this entry, the reference to 砂利 should only point to sense 1 of it and not to sense 2... |
