It gets quite a few hits but so does "ゴルフする". I don't think it's a standard expression.
Googits for コーラスをする are nearly 10x that of コーラスする.
Not too bothered in this instance but the kokugo dictionaries are usually the best guide for [vs] usage. |

I get plenty of hits for "コーラスする”,
including on google news and google books. If
gg5's "~する" ”doesn't necessary mean that the
word is used in the form [noun]する”, what
exactly do you propose it means? |

This isn't marked as [vs] in any of the kokugos.
When GG5 has "~する", it doesn't necessary mean that the word is used in the form [noun]する.
"I sing in a chorus"/"I do choral singing" is definitely not expressed as "私はコーラスします" |
