For これ and それ, we have the interjection sense as a separate entry (as in daijr/s). Suggesting we do the same with あれ.
Where does the "period; menses" sense come from? Isn't it just an example of あれ being used to refer to something without using the word/name (like the "down there" sense)?
The "over there" sense isn't archaic. Possiblt dated but prog has an example. |
