締切り is in the kokugos. It shouldn't be hidden.
I think 締切 is too common for io.
Those "not ..." notes aren't ideal. I think this is a better approach. |

Displaying both is not really an option - it would be a major change as it's geared now to display just the first choice according to various criteria.
For 締め切/etc. I'd prefer to have the regular entry picked instead of the masu-stem, but the code sequencing does the verb-detections before the regular entries, and it would be a super pain to change it.
If I ever get to rewrite that module, I'll try and handle this better. |

Yes, they are hideous. I suggest dropping them altogether and simply adding notes to the senses:
1. "not 閉(め)切り"
2. "not 閉(め)切り"
3. "not 〆/乄切(り)
Slightly less pure, but much more readable. |
