You make a good point. It gets quite a few hits, but it's always accompanied by an explanation. Could be grounds for rejection. I don't know if there is a policy on what entries are worthy of inclusion. Probably better to reject it not to clutter up the dictionary. |

This word is not used in Japanese. The few dozen hits it gets on Google are merely explanations of what the term means.
Literally any non-Japanese word can be written in katakana so a Wikipedia article by itself is not evidence of usage. (Indeed, this article is just a direct translation of the English original). |
