gg5 uses "put the screws on" but i think it's a mistranslation, kokugos all use "せめる", "苦しめる" or "取り締まる" and i don't believe it's helpful at all as it has a pretty different meaning in english
gave "settle accounts" its own sense

i wonder if i might have missed a better way to make it clear that "絞め上げる" can only be used for the 1st sense (and possibly when referring to "首")?
