If kept, I think "nutrients" needs to be plural here (various ~物 terms are plural).  This is never 1 nutrient (栄養素). 

It doesn't seem like it should be, but the collocations and parallel translations seem to suggest that it is just "nutrition".

Critically, not the "science of nutrition", so some distinction is needed.

"nutriment" could go here, if others here are familiar with the word.  It never shows up in reverso, and I've never heard of it myself, and it doesn't come up in reverso at all.

"nourishment" is a synonym, but seems like an awkward(perhaps [dated]) gloss to me. At least, we don't talk about getting nourishment from breakfast cereal. All the translations I see that do this are quite stiff.

I didn't want to confuse "nutrient" given 栄養分 and 栄養素, but it seems there is a case for it.  At least it's plural here with some context.
