Relationship between tsubo and square meter
One tsubo is about 3.30578 square meters and one square meter is about 0.3025 tsubo. In reality, the fraction continues endlessly, but ... this "tsubo" is often written as 3.3 square meters

Comments at 一寸 and 坪当たり. I think other numbers here listed as "approx." should also be rounded, but I'll stick to [1] at the moment, which is fairly well supported in mainstream literature (in English and Japanese).
