I think [chn] is best kept for children's language, and if there enough cases to warrant it another tag created for "used by parents, ...".

I wasn't familiar with this use of the word but after reading various online discussions about it, my impression is that it's not used by children at all. I think we should indicate this in some way or another if we're tagging it as children's language. Maybe something simple like "used by parents, guardians, etc."

I think [chn] should include words used by adults when speaking to children. I mean kids only say あんよ etc. because that's what their parents use those words with them. I'm sure some toddlers pick up on this to some extent too. I don't really think the note is necessary.
