	Comments:	It seems the "kneelings and prostrations" come from 三跪九叩. If I'm not mistaken, 三拝九拝 is literally "three bows and nine bows." Jitenon also offers the other interpretations that I described in a previous edit. In any case, it doesn't look like [lit] is a good fit for this particular gloss on this entry.

	Refs:	Jitenon's entry says 「三拝」 refers to the Buddhist concept of 「三業」 (respectful actions, words, and thoughts) and 「九拝」 refers to nine ancient Chinese forms of paying respect. 「三拝」は敬意を持って三回拝むこと。仏教では身業、口業、意業の三業に敬意を表すこと。「九拝」は敬意を持って九回拝むこと。または、古代中国で定められた九種類の礼拝のこと。 The medium sized dictionaries (daijr/s, koj) just say 「三拝と九拝の礼。」 I don't think we can say with confidence that 三拝九拝 literally refers to three kneelings and nine prostrations. I think gg5 might have been taking some creative liberties, so we probably shouldn't reproduce it verbatim. Adding a second sense from the kokugos.
