The people at the time satirized the situation by referring to Lu as "the chancellor who just ate as the secondary guest" (伴食宰相, Banshi Zaixiang). However, he was credited, along with Yao, with reforming the civil service system and the criminal justice system, to eliminate corruption and unfairness.
  Comments:
one or two twitter hits, no news hits, google reports a lot, but returns very little, almost entirely dictionaries. Mentioned once on wikipedia, derived from 伴食大臣 (650年 – 721年).

伴食宰相	63

An incredibly erudite insult indeed.
