This is the total weight of the rider and saddle (burdened with lead weights to hit a prescribed minimum weight). It can be the "assigned weight" or the actual weight (if higher than the minimum).
Could provide an [expl] but we have [horse], that should be enough to google "horse racing" and "impost" or "assigned weight". ("impost" is not thrown around that often, without wordreference I might not have found it).
Sizeable wikipedia article just for 負担重量. Google image search is all horse racing. Perhaps has literal uses (i.e. "weight burden") here and there, didn't find anything obvious |
