daijs has the で, but the trailing で seems generally not required on 詣で terms. As an extreme example:

熊野詣の湯垢離場	204	54.5%
熊野詣での湯垢離場	170	45.5%

で seems to be applied somewhat haphazardly in the wikipedia article (sometimes there is a coincidental particle で, usually it is omitted, but it appears in some special cases).

I'm also changing the xref from 熊野三社 to the more popular 熊野三山(wikipedia headword).

Along with daijs, an NHK article includes the で(though many other news sources do not).  I guess I'll consider this "prescriptively preferred", or something like that.  But ngrams suggest that the bare 熊野詣 should lead.
