Normally that's the case. I think this is a little different as it leads two other entries (毛沢東思想, 毛沢東主義). We have quite a few surname entries, but with Chinese ones often being a single kanji that's a bit difficult to reflect.

I don't think we have any full names in the jmdict database, only surnames.

もうたくとう	1556
マオツェドン	0 <- entry, few Googits
