Comments: | We now use [suf] for "after the masu stem" senses. aux-v is for auxiliary verbs (marked as 補助動詞/補動 in the kokugos). 切れる should be updated. I think we should drop "usu." from the note. Daijs is alone in saying that this is also a standalone verb. |

Comments: | I could be wrong, but looking at other entries (切れる for example) the sense that is a suffix after the -masu stem of a verb usually has the aux-v part of speech. |
