When looking up sabotage for 破壊工作, wikipedia was an obvious place to check. It had another term (this one).
This is the wikipedia headword/xref for "sabotage". Double the ngrams of 破壊工作 and 妨害工作. reverso mostly gives "sabotage", also "destruction" and "vandalism" in some contexts. Interestingly eow.alc.co.jp does not give "sabotage". Seems like an oversight. You might have some other glosses you'd like, but I think it is probably appropriate for "sabotage" to be among them.

"sabotage the incoming president" is certainly a common-enough English expression (unfortunately). |
