Some of the images I am seeing for 弦鋸 are of the traditional saws, but with a term like this, I don't really feel like arguing about it. It's so rare we'd probably not add it now. |

Here is where today's hacksaw adventure began. Any evidence that this is a particularly special kind of traditional saw?
The only thing I found online was hacksaws (and hacksaw blades in particular). xref to 弓のこ over 金桐鋸 purely based on the logic of the kanji. (弦 ~ 弓) |
