It's irrelevent whether or not the definition is the same as what general public thinks. Terms of a niche within a niche are often misunderstood anyway. People who create (and consume) within a niche should determine the definition. Furthermore, There is another important difference. Lolicon is strictly sexual attracted to females, while pedophilia could be sexual attraction to both sexes, male or female. Lastly, you don't have to be male to be a lolicon, as there are popular (Japanese) female influencers calling themselfs a lolicon. |
