Kim doesn't reload his database; instead he applies updates according to what has changed in JMdict. There's been an issue in the past with keeping deletions visible. I thought it was fixed now, so I've just emailed him about this one.
Best that jisho issues are raised directly with that platform. |

Was going to flag this as [rare] before seeing it was deleted. (good. Mostly appears in the name of an Emporer).
I see many updates pushed to jisho.org rather quickly, so I am surprised this is still present. Does anyone know if they have an issue purging deleted entries? This was deleted 6+ months ago... |

I can’t find any references to this word’s existence in any Japanese-to-Japanese resources. I checked 明鏡国語辞典, 大辞林, goo, ALC, and weblio and I didn’t see anything. I also consulted a native speaker who’s never heard that word. All of the above contain either nothing or a mention of the Japanese emperor by that name. I don’t know if it should be removed but I’d recommend at least adding some tag that references its extreme rarity. Thanks! |
