Comments: | Yes, [form] corresponds to the 文 (文章語) tag used in (some of) the kokugos. Sankoku's definition of "文章語" appears to be broader than meikyo's (i.e. sankoku has a lot more 文-tagged entries) but we consider a 文 tag in sankoku as sufficient justification for [form]. |

Comments: | reorder kanji, add [form]. sankoku also orders as 広壮;宏壮 I'm not sure how broadly we interpret [form] "formal or literary term". sankoku marks this and a lot of 壮 terms as 文 (文章語). Certainly they are literary, I don't know if that forces them to be formal (sometimes [form] seems like "literary" + [rare]... This doesn't seem obscure, in any case). |
