Any chance we could remove [sK] from 思う壺に嵌る? The cited って n-gram counts put 思う壺に嵌って at 5.3%, which is not horrible. If there are kanji forms, I like to see them, and I think this might cause jisho.org to hide the kanji form entirely (which was my motivation for the edit in the first place).
It's not a "dead" usage. Still uncommon (5%), but you see the kanji form on twitter often enough. |

Apparently has kanji (if not super common). Also re-ordering for consistency with n-grams and the entry for 思う壺. I'm indifferent to the hiragana/katakana ordering, but it seems like it could be made to agree with the standalone 思う壺 entry, whatever is decided there.
I don't know if it's sufficient to just list the kanji one time with 壺. It certainly appears that if you're the type of character to write 嵌る in kanji, you probably do 壺 in kanji as well. |
