I guess having both is "safer". I don't think the form of the reading is a big issue here but it's good to be consistent. |

Actually daijr only has the ろ reading (in their non-kanwa entry). But katakana ロ is common in newspaper titles:
"デモ隊1万人が議会突入試みる ジョージア、ロ議員演説に怒り"
so I think the original ろ;ロ[nokanji] was actually more correct. |
