Comments: | Very interesting. I went back and looked at the Reverso matches in detail, and I see they are really poor 直訳 of 復元 + 品, and should be translated as replica/reconstructions/etc. Need to be careful there. Seems like people are using 復元品 as an alternative to 複製品 despite its components not actually meaning that. |

Comments: | the particular usage where i saw it, it referred to a replica (a modern "reprint" of a Meiji period deck of cards). So I don't think it refers to a restoration, no. |
