  Comments: 
Promote (with correct definition); I’ve marked it as an “obscure” term, though more accurate is “literary” (as glossed in 大辞泉) – I’ve seen it used in an essay, so I hesitate to call it “poetic”.

I also link it to the other main term using 摯, which 大辞泉 also mentions in the definition, as this seems worth emphasizing.
