Comments: | Hmm. 助ける can be read すける although it's usually たすける. I guess we could take that approach rather than ditching 助手/すけて altogther. |

Refs: | shinmeikai has たすけて【助(け)手】 and we have a corresponding entry 1344450. Maybe すけて could go there. |

Comments: | The kokugos all have an entry for 助手/すけて with the first sense the same as here. Most have a second archaic sense about an assistant at the 節会相撲. I'm comfortable with this entry the way it is, but maybe we could consider splitting 助手/すけて off. |
