Comments: | I think that's one of Kojien's typical old-fashioned meanings, and it's probably lost that meaning in modern Japanese. Maybe mention it in the context of someone in the household. |

Comments: | That does appear to be the case but I note that koj includes 召使い (servant) in its definition. I think it's worth adding as a gloss. The meaning isn't restricted to family members. |
