I don't think that's a suffix. In XXX自殺 it's the XXX that's being pre-nominal; not the 自殺 being a suffix. |

Add pos [n-suf] – frequently used to mean “suicide by …” (e.g., 首吊り自殺), and seems productive (e.g., saw 「カミソリ自殺」 in a story – probably not common enough to have a separate entry, but shows that 〜自殺 is productive). |
