Comments: | Interesting article. I can't think of a suitable refocus or split of the glosses. |

Comments: | daijs: 官庁・会社・学校などで、その人がそこの職員・社員・学生・生徒などであることを証明する文書 maybe the glosses are too broad? also used for a very specific type of ID historically also, it appears: https://mainichi.jp/english/articles/20220513/p2a/00m/0na/035000c |

Refs: | "An identity document (also called a piece of identification or ID, or colloquially as one's 'papers') is any document which may be used to verify aspects of a person's personal identity. " http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Identity_document . added "piece of identification" (to ID) because a) it's not necessarily a *document* in the usual sense (can refer to a card, for example): - 代わりとなる写真付きの身分証明書 other acceptable form of picture ID - ならばなぜ、彼らは日本国籍を持っているのに、前科者のように身分証明書を持ち歩いているのですか?Then as Japanese citizens why are they forced to still carry around ID cards like ex-convicts? b) the Wp article suggests it (see quote above) |
