Robin's suggestion has been there for a while and no one has responded. I think it's a good way to go. The "koyomi" romaji version seems to get little or no use - most WWW hits are for a brand of shochu.
I'll pull this back to one sense, drop the koyomi gloss, and unless there are objections I'll edit the glosses of the ~20 entries with "koyomi" in them. |

All the refs have れき for 暦.
I'm not sure we need a separate sense. I think it would be better to remove "koyomi" from the entries that have it and replace it with "Japanese calendar" or "traditional Japanese calendar". |

Here is a suggested split (the JEs don't.) Feel free to edit. If approved a heap of xrefs need tweaking.
BTW, should れき be a reading at all? The kokugos don't have it. |

We need to explain what koyomi is. Is this 2 senses, one meaning any calendar, another with a historic meaning? |

we have 15 or so entries referencing "koyomi" (i.e. in English)
I think either we should add that word here or re-word those 15 entries |
