the chinese calendar is actually a lunisolar calendar (太陰太陽暦), not a lunar calendar (which is used in islam). same goes for the old japanese calendar.
there was a period when i was strict on distinguishing between them and i wanted to clean up all references to the "lunar calendar" and change them to "lunisolar calendar", but that time has passed
anyway, TL;DR, but in any case strictly this doesn't refer to the chinese calendar |
