I agree.

I don't think we need this in JMdict, it's comparable to a product name. We don't even have an entry for Pokemon, having one for manholes decorated with them seems very weird.

A Japanese friend told me about manhole covers in her hometown recently being replaced by manhole covers featuring Pokémon creatures, and used the word 'ポケふた' in this context (「ポケモンのマンホールのことを「ポケふた」と言うらしいです。」). A quick image search seems to indicate that this is fairly common term for these. A fairly recent phenomenon, they seem quite popular.

A glance at search result counts using Google shows that ポケふた is the dominant form (500,000+), followed by ポケ蓋 (24,000+), and ポケフタ (4,000+).
