pretty much everything: kojien, daijisen, daijirin, nikkoku, etc.
  Comments:
almost every kokugo is using トンネル or a road/railway as its example for the word, but the words pierce and penetrate and perforate sound like they only apply to bullets or needles
would it be pertinent to move "passing through" to the top?

by the way, the word "pierce" does not imply that the bullet comes out from the other side but I think the word 貫通 does so it is quite misleading
