I agree. I have looked at the GG5, etc. entries, with all their senses, and it seems they are just reflecting the different meanings of "development". I think the terser entry works well. |

to be honest, i think this entry was better when it was vaguer. refers to "development" in many senses, not just of natural resources, so additional senses have to be added to cover the other types of "development". gg5 does this, prog and nc do not. certainly if those glosses are allowed to stand then additional senses have to be added |
