Comments: | よほど doesn't take on a new meaning when it's used adjectivally as よほどの, so I don't think a new sense is needed. "Unusual" and "extraordinary" are quite context-specific translations. It really just means "considerable/great". I don't think we need a よほどのこと entry. It's just one of many よほどの〜 examples. Added glosses. Not a noun. |
