In response to Claudio, you picked the right corpus. JMnedict is for proper names (i.e. names of places, people, works, etc.) We also have proper names in JMdict but it's a small subset. See the editorial policy (linked above) for more information.

This is my first submission, and I don't know which corpus it should be entered.
I've read the help (https://www.edrdg.org/jmdictdb/cgi-bin/edhelp.py?svc=jmdict&sid=#kw_src), but could not find the difference between jmdict and jmnedict.
I picked jmdict. Forgive me if it is incorrect, and please could you correct to appropriate corpus if that is the case? |
