This one worried me, as all the refs only have it as writing the words of songs, The Asahi ref points to another page

which only has 作詞作曲 for 作詞. 作詞作曲 means writing the words and music of a song.
I think until a ref emerges that has better support for a more general meaning, the original should stay. |
