i approved this temporarily, but i'm not sure of it. my IME offers 越南 for ベトナム, and Marcus has the reference above. if split, i think 越南 should be provided here as an "also written as" |

I don't think that's really saying that 越南 is read ベトナム. 広辞苑 has ベトナム and ヴェトナム split out. |
