Comments: | I think this latest revision by Robin makes the entry misleading and less useful. Just because 都 most commonly refers to Tokyo doesn't mean it's not applied to other cities when used outside a Japanese context. The fact that most of the kokugos adopt this insular mentality should not be taken as gospel IMO. |
