Comments: | I don't think they are used as verbs now. GG5 has an entry for 憂う/うれう, which it points to 憂える and only has examples using 憂うべき, which we have as an entry. With a POS like that, I think it's safer to keep the "arch". |

Comments: | Are 憂う/愁う really archaic? They're in meikyo/shinmeikai, which call them a literary form of 憂える. |

Comments: | not sure how to handle it. usually they don't include both the う and the ふ as headwords for these. the entry itself suggests that it is v2h regardless of う vs ふ, so it's probably okay to put them in here |

Comments: | I think this is how we'd handle it. Should there be 憂う, etc. as well? Daijr has 憂ふ as the headword, but it's indexed on 憂う too. |

Comments: | 憂ふ and 愁ふ seem to be archaic versions. |
