I'll add that to the 締める entry, As for remerging, i.e. undoing the 2012 split, I feel we need to be on much stronger ground to do that. The old merged entry was a mess of restrictions. For now I'd rather keep it as-is with xrefs. |

I meant that "to kill" should prob. be added
as a sense to 締める rather than 〆る. but yes,
also that the 2 should probably be merged. I'm
not convinced 〆る can't be used for several
other if not all of the senses in 締める.

Merging would be messy as they seem to only overlap by one or two senses. BTW, which sense of 締める is "魚を締める" related to? I'm having trouble with it. |
