No clue how common it is, but googling still finds over a thousand results for "しゅうきんへい" 集近閉 and apparently it was relevant enough for someone to put it on that pixiv dic entry
On a sidenote, is there a way to submit without having to change see to [see=2271630[1]]? If not it just throws out errors |

When I searched "集近閉", the only results I was seeing were tweets from people who had 集近閉 in their handles, not the tweets themselves. I've just found a way of excluding usernames and handles from search results and now a lot of relevant examples are showing up.
I don't think it's ever read しゅうきんへい (as the joke wouldn't work). |
