Refs: | I saw one (random) source using "sectional owning" in English to describe the Japanese laws on this but it doesn't seem like it's used officially: http://www.japaneselawtranslation.go.jp/law/detail/?id=2015&vm=04&re=01 "(建物の区分所有) (Building Unit Ownership)" "「区分所有権」 "unit ownership" 「区分所有者」"unit owner" 「専有部分」 "exclusive element" 「共用部分」 "common element" _ Here, 区分所有建物 is translated as "condominium" (the law itself hasn't been translated though, just its title) http://www.japaneselawtranslation.go.jp/law/detail_main?re=02&vm=04&id=1272 |
|
Comments: | I wouldn't be opposed to including glosses like "strata title building", "sectional title complex" as well as "condominium" as glosses after the more descriptive one. |
