I don't think it's 2 senses. I think it's
something that encompasses tailgating and road
rage, but is mainly about somehow threatening
the other driver. "dangerous driving" is
wrong, I believe. |

The examples I have seen given (see the above references) seem to go beyond just tailgating to include other types of road rage/ harrassment such as swerving, overtaking, switching on high beam lights and so on. I have tried to edit the Meaning entry, but I don't feel really confident to say I have the exact sense of the word, other than that it seems to refer to a general category of behaviour of which tailgating is only one case. |
