Refs: | gg5: 印象的な光景 an impressive [a striking] scene. m-w (impressive): "making or tending to make a marked impression : having the power to excite attention, awe, or admiration" |

Comments: | Although "impressive" isn't always used with the same meaning as 印象的, it's still a valid translation. |

Comments: | "Impressive" means "worthy of surprise or commendation" in contemporary US English, and this is different from the meaning of 印象的 ("impression-leaving"). I found it hard to think up the right adjective for this ("impactful") until now, and I believe it should be added to the entry. |
