I'm not sure how important that contextual information is but it's included in all the kokugos. It is quite a long gloss but I don't think it's overly wordy.

My issue is that the edit removed the contextual information about the sense that I'm sure Robin intended to include. I didn't think it was overly wordy. If you disagree with that information, that's fine, but I think we need a case to be made that it's not correct or appropriate, and not just an excision.

Apologies, but doesn't many edits  really speak for themselves? I tried to simplify an overly wordy gloss. If you think the 
original gloss was better, by all means reject the suggestion.
