Comments: | I think that's a kanwa matter. It's often recorded there, e.g. kanjidic has "あめ あま- -さめ". |

Comments: | Just want to bring this up again - do we maybe want to add さめ and あま as readings, with a note like: [note="あま and さめ only in compounds; あま only when leading, さめ only when trailing"] no kokugo is doing this, but I thought I'd hear what you guys might think. |

Comments: | Oops, I was considering adding あま together with a note about it being used in compounds, but none of the other dictionaries seemed to do that, so I actually decided against it but forgot to remove the reading. (if somebody else feels that'd be worth doing, I'm not opposed to it though, I'm just not really sure) |
